New Library Funding
MAME has created a new library fund in order to better serve our members.
Details:
The purpose of this fund is supplement a MAME member’s cost in purchasing teaching materials that relate to teaching and learning in a multi-age classroom.
- Applicable teaching materials classify as:
- Electronic textbook
- Hardcopy textbook
- Non-applicable teaching materials:
- Manipulatives (please see special project grants)
- Teachers Pay Teachers
- Non-reproducible student textbooks as per copyright issues
- Up to $1000 will be allocated to this fund as deemed available with a maximum of $50 per member to help offset the costs of teaching and learning materials.
- Members will be able to apply to this once every two years and does not interfere with use of funds from PD Funding (special projects, conference, tuition).
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a MAME member in good standing
- Applicant must apply
prior to May 31st of the current school year
Process:
- Applicants must complete “Application for Library Funds”
- Funding will be granted based on availability of funds in a first come first serve basis
- Applicants will be reimbursed with funds upon completion of the following:
- Original receipts are submitted to MAME
- A short write up of the book purchased and it’s content promotion
